Third meeting in Spain

Erasmus+ in Seville, Spain was one of the best                                    experiences in our lives

In this amazing city I met a lot of unique people from different countries and cultures. My host family was also absolutely approachable and they accepted me gladly as well. My family gave me a great opportunity to know the Spanish culture even better, for instance, to try their traditional food and etc. They introduced me to all the most beautiful and interesting places in Seville such as Seville cathedral, The Plaza de España, Metropol Parasol. In addition, we also have visited Granada and Alhambra, which impressed all of us. All in all, I believe that I will never forget this incredible trip, because I have learned so much in just one week and, of course, my second family!
(Gabija Maskvitytė, Lithuania)

To begin with, I believe that Erasmus+ is one of the best experiences I ever had in my life. I think that everyone should be brave and try it,  because like example, for me it was an amazing and very practicable time spent with  wonderful and different people. In fact, I glad that in Spain meeting I got to such a pleasant and sociable family - Loli and Natalia. It was great that those people so kindly admired me as their own family member. To sum up, the best things about all that travel were that we met a lot of new people, became close friends with them, also,we improved our English speaking skills and eventually, we learned so many things about other countries, such as France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Latvia, Turkey, Italy, and of course, their culture and traditions, that was very interesting and impressive.
(Agnė Gedyminaitė, Lithuania)

I enjoyed Erasmus + project in Seville, it was a really great opportunity for me, because it helped me to understand and to know better different cultures and their traditions. Besides, this project helps to improve English speaking skills and using it abroad, so I feel that now I can communicate with foreigners freely and without any pressure. Also Erasmus+ gave me possibility to see well known places in Seville and Granada cities. I‘m really glad that I had such a wonderful opportunity to try myself in abroad!
                                                                                                   Ignas Kazokas, Lithuania)

The Erasmus+ week, when we were in Seville, was one of the best days in my life. There I met wonderful people, experienced a lot of new things. We have explored the city of Seville and Granada, which were really amazing. Also, in school we had activities which helped to know culture differences and similarities between other countries. One of the best things was the living in the families. People, which I lived together became the part of my life.  I will never forget them and the stunning Spain.

The Third Project Meeting in Spain: Latvian Team

At school students acquire a lot of knowledge, which is very important for their future life.

However, there are skills which are also very essential – to get along with fellow students, to adapt to a new situation, to learn from peers, to expand one’s horizons.

Such projects, like Earsmus+ project Flipped Learning with ICT, are very helpful in this respect.

The 3rd project meeting was held in Seville, Spain. Four students-representitives from each partner-country participated. Students were accompanied and advised by their teachers.

One of the aims of the meeting was  promoting students’ cultural awareness, clarifying cultural identities, and challenging preconceptions. Culture is a really many-sided topic. So, the programme was very rich and a lot of preparations were involved.

Students demonstrated the video about their country culture and traditions and got acquainted with other countries culture, including history, traditions, holidays, food and folk dance.

Workshop “Overcome the prejudice” was organized by Spanish team.
Later, students worked in international groups to structure and summarize the information.
At the end of the meeting each groups presented the result of their work.

Spanish team have done a great job to prepare everything and to organize guided tours and cultural visits. As this part of the country and Seville itself has really rich and diverse history.

And, of course, warmth and hospitality of Spanish team and host- families made the project meeting an unforgettable experience for both students and teachers.

Italy Meeting by Thomas

Erasmus +: Meeting Italy

With my English teacher, Mrs Elbouh, we took part in the second meeting in Italy in the frame of the Erasmus + project  FLwICT. This project is funded by the European Commission  as other projects for the benefit of all Europeen children, like us. There were a lot of different cultures such as Italian, French, Polish, Latvian, Spanish, Portuguese, Lithuanian, Turkish. Our names were drawn to travel to Italy, Keïna, Tim and I as well as  Chloe, Zoe and Latitia ( from literature class) were the lucky ones to be  chosen from our classes to travel in this beautiful country, Italy! We were chaproned by Mrs El Bouh and Mrs Lavant.

Before we arrived we were all stressed by the difficulty to speak in another language! We were in the shuttle and all of us had expressed  this concern. e were talking in French, joking, laughing for the last time in French for one week!  Everyone was scared to feel awkward or to seem weird, not to be like what our guests were expecting! But in just one day it was like we had known each other for 20 years! That was amazing!

The Italian team organized a lot of activities, interesting activities, like writing a song for the project, our project anthem, all of the countries had to write four lines about the project, this beautiful project, the French part is:
«We are from different cultures
And now !stop being vultures
Erasmus +, the new union
Is a good way to communion»
We were in a European group; in my group, there were a Latvian, a Lithuanian, an Italian, Lorenzo the funniest Italian boy ever and a Turkish and a Portuguese; the first ten minutes were difficult because no one wanted to speak, we were too shy! And then we became friends, that was really easy! I will never forget this team, they were perfect! We had a lot of laughter because we were  teaching words from our  native languages to the others and that was very funny to hear their pronunciations! We voted for the best logo of our project, and Italy won, the Italian logo was the best!We also tackled the issue of cyberbullying, prepared presentations in multinational groups.

All the activities were enriching and gave us the opportunity to know each other and share a lot.

Italian students finish school earlier than the French. So, in the afternoon we were would go a to the commercial center to do the «saldi» and to meet some other friends like Greta, or Asia and their funny guest like Dawid, a Polish guy who was Asia's guest; he was very funny. Some nights we went to parties and we met a lot of other Italian like Lorenzo, Gaïa, Greta, Alessandra , and I forget a lot of others! With Lorenzo, the funniest Italian guy we danced, and we took other people to dance with us and at the end all were dancing! That was a magical moment! All the families took us to the Lake of Garda in Bardolina, or in Italian lago di Garda, the sun was beautiful,  the light was stunning! The last night, all the  Erasmus + participants had dinner in an Italian restaurant! At the end of the evening, I called it «The Madeleine Time», because in France we have an expression, cry like a Madeleine, a madeleine is a cake, but this means to cry a lot! I called this moment like that because that was the time where everyone was crying because , a lot of hugs were done! The Italian teacher give a diploma to all participants to prove that we had participated in this unbelievable project! We didn't say «farewell» but only good bye or see you soon, because we hope to come back in this beautiful country!

We had awesome visits of  beautiful cities  like Mantova, Verona or Sabbioneta. The city of  Verona is very beautiful with its  roman arena and Juliet's balcony! Mantova with its canal.
In Sabbioneta, we drank Italian hot chocolate, but it's not like in France, this is real chocolate! as the other French students didn't like theirs,  I bravely drank all of the mugs, six cups of hot chocolate! That was a little bit too much! But that was excellent! The Italian culture is really outstanding with its richness, every wall, every brick tells you a story! theaters, arenas, old homes; it is really beautiful! We took a lot of photos, like normal tourists!

What I like in this project? I can say everything, but it's too easy to say that then, I like all Italians; they were always happy, funny, this is magic, all of participants of the Erasmus+ project were polite, always cheerful. We discovered a new part of our teachers and other teachers from the other countries, they were always happy to talk  with all and that was awesome! With this project, with this meeting in Italy it was easy to talk with others without being scared about our language skills, you just have to light up your face with a big smile and they will speak to you. When we were in the classroom with our pals, we were able to exchange with students and the teacher about our country, our culture,...

can say what this travel brought me, it gave me my life, my Italian life.  It is my preferred trip ever, I found my second family, my second surname is now Indaco! They were just perfect. Thanks a lot for all the extraordinary work behind this project, all the teachers, thank you isn't enough to say what I feel! My pen friend, Deborah has become my friend, I trust you will come in France, and I will host you like you hosted me like perfect, like all of her friends Asia, Lorenzo, Gaïa, Sofia, Anna; all of you, you have become my friends! I forgot a lot of friends but I can't say all of the names otherwise my page will be filled with names! My  advice for students, if you can participate in this magical adventure, you have to do it!
Grazie mille  from me and all my French mates: Zoe, Chloe, Laetitia, Tim and Keina!

HAPPY FACES!!

Erasmus+ KA2 Project
FLwICT
THE SECOND MEETING IN ITALY
(from 13 to 19 January 2016)

We realized the second meeting of the project from 13 to 19 January in Italy. The aim for this meeting was to teach the students about Internet Ethics. At this meeting, the students worked with their international working groups on Cyber bullying, secure password, use of social, the online reputation, use of social and freewares.

Before the meeting, the teachers prepared videos about these subjects and we uploaded all the videos to the project’s e-Twining platform. Beside this, the teachers prepared videos about how to use Powtoon and Prezi programs. So, the participant students learned some information about these subjects before the meeting.

The first day of the meeting, the students made warm up activities at the school. They introduced their own schools to other participant students. So, they learned so many things about other countries schools. Then, a student from each country made a presentation about the logo. And, we selected the best three logos. The first logo defined as the project’s official logo.

At the workshop times, the international working groups worked with in the big cooperation on Internet ethic. Each team produced a video about this subject. They learned, produced and had fun at workshop time. The last day, each group made a presentation about Internet Ethics.

We realized wonderful cultural activities, too. We visited the historical places of Mantova and Sabbioneta. These cultural trips were so great experience for the students. They learned so many things about Italian culture. Beside this, teachers visited  Venice, too.

The last they of the meeting, there were a farewell party with host families. The students, teachers and families have had a lot of fun at this party. Beside this, at the end of the party, the participant  students and  teachers took certificates.

I want to thanks to Maria, Carla, the Italian team, the host students and the host families for this excellent organization. Everything was wonderful for us :)
