1st Staff Training Event in Arcos de Valdevez_Portugal

It was a wonderful week for us. We had the opportunity to meet wonderful partners!

The meeting began with a warm welcome from the Mayor of Arcos de Valdevez.

The training programme about  specific  screencasting softwares (Jing, Snagit and Camtasia) what enriching and useful allowing us to "flip" our lessons!

Some Portuguese Specialties and Epralima’s Cooking and Bartending students had the opportunity to show some of their skills through a lunch prepared and served by them.

Here's a video memory of our first meeting made by Irene Dantas and her students. It was a pleasure hosting this meeting and getting to know you all. I am certain that this project will be a success working with excellent professionals!

First Staff Training Event
  Arcos de Valdevez, Portugal

Latvian team would like to share their impressions about first staff training event.
It was very valuable experience both professionally and personally.

We got acquainted with our partners and their schools. We discussed our project activities and future plans.

Workshops on screencasting software were also very relevant, as
our project is based on ICT.
Thanks to our Portuguese partners for excellent arrangements. Inspite the intense program we found the opportunity to do some cultural activities.
We brought bright memories and inspiration for further work

Meeting In Portugal

Our hosts did really a wonderful job whether in the organization of the training or the social activities. All the staff offered us a heart-warming welcome and we relished taking the little treats prepared by the students for the coffee-breaks.

The meeting offered us a great opportunity to discover each partner in person and get to know all the participants. Moreover, the trainings helped us update our knowledge in the use of the softwares to design our '' Flipped'' lessons all along the project.

But most importantly, we successfully covered the agenda of the meeting, we gained clarifications of the dates and  tasks of the upcoming meetings but also the use of the project website and blog ( by Asia, Polish partner) and the Etwinning platform ( by Maria, Italian partner).
I am grateful to the Portuguese partners Carla and Sandra, and our main coordinator , Ayla.

THE FIRST MEETING IN PORTUGAL
(from 15 to 21 November)

Dear Teammates,

As you know, we have realized the first meeting of the project in Portugal. It was the most important meeting for us because we would meet each other for the first time, set the project's ground rules there. I think you agree with me that it was a really nice meeting. We conducted our agenda successfully and learned so many thing about the screencast programs such as Jing, Snagit, Camtasia and Lucidpress.

Last week, we had the opportunity to get to know each other. And, now I feel lucky myself, because I work with people who are awfully nice and hardworking. I believe that we will do so many great jobs in this project.

Lastly, I would like to thank to Epralima School's principal, Carla, Sandra and the staff  for this excellent organization in Portugal.

Best Regards,

Ayla Savasci
The Main Coordinator of the Project
