6th MEETING IN POLAND

ITALIAN TEAM

It was a fantastic meeting.  We visited a new and interesting country, rich in culture and traditions, with cozy people but above all we discovered it together with  students from other countries. We became great friends and we spoke English, because the best way to learn English is to use it.  We discussed and worked together to make a new, innovative product for the future.

My host family was kind and  did everything to make me feel at home: they were very  nice to me.

The food was not very good at the school canteen, but the traditional Polish food like Barszcz or Pierogi was  very good.

The school time was well organized and the activities were not  boring.

The trips were interesting and we discovered  traditions, like preparing the Polish bread.

I sightsaw  Łódź with my host family and I was enchanted by the city size and by its huge shopping center with a giant square.

I had not problems in speaking because they spoke a very good and fluent English. I think this is a very good way to destroy any language walls  .

Finally, I want to say thanks to every member of the Polish team, pupils, teachers and school collaborators for this amazing meeting, and... See you at the next meeting!

I think that Erasmus+ has been a wonderful experience.

Poland is a beautifull country.

I had the opportunity to learn about different ways of living, to improve my English and to taste different foods.

In a week I met so many people from Spain,Portugal, Poland, France, Turkey, Latvia and Lithuania. . They were very nice and generous. I miss them so much!

Poland is a beautiful country but what I really liked about it was the kindness and goodness of its people.

The food was pretty good: I enjoyed Pierogi and the Polish hot chocolate.

I realized how nice Polish people were the day when I arrived there. I got my host family very late at night and  they offered me a drink and some chocolates.

On the same day, after sleeping only five hours, we met other students at the school gym and we got to know each other.  Two things  that struck me about the school: 1) the kindness of the Polish students 2) the pin-pong table. Here we played a lot and made new friends.

But above all I loved the Manufaktura because I didn’t believe that such a huge shopping mall could exist and the Piotrkowska street a long and straight pedestrian way  that seems endless.

For me it was a very important experience and I had a lot of fun. I’d like to try it again in  another country.

It' s a very important project to speak English and to open the students’ mind. It's interesting to learn about new cultures and to meet new people. Unfortunately the meeting was too short to visit the whole city but it was very nice. In my opinion the salt gallery was the most beautiful place we visited. It was huge. People were friendly and sociable and always smiling.

Impressions from Spanish team

A great meeting in Poland. Everything was wonderful: the trips, the school activities,... even the weather!!!.

The integration activities in the school were particularly interesting, not only for students but also for us, teachers.
The visit to the salt mine was impressive, we have never been so deep into Earth before!!!
We really appreciate the effort on behalf of the host families to make our students feel like at home. They are so happy and grateful.
Lodz turn out to be a lively, beautiful and cultural city. We really enjoyed Piotrkowska street, Manufaktura and the parks.

THE 6^th MEETING IN POLAND

(from 26 to 30 September 2016)

As the big family of FLwICT Project, we have started to work on the second year’s subjects of the Project. The main objective of the second year- first semester  of the project is to enhance the students’ ability of entrepreneurship and creativity. During this semester students are going to have an opportunity to discover themselves, develop their personal, entrepreneur and leadership skills by working with national and international groups.

In Lodz/Poland, we have completed the first Project meeting of the second year. At the meeting in Poland, the main objective was to enable our students thinking about the entrepreneurship and creativity and raising awareness related to this subject. At the first day of the meeting, the students made so many integrating activities with Polish students and teachers. So, the students had the opportunity to know each other better. Beside this, while performing these activities, the students had lots of fun, too. The second day of the meeting was so excited for my students, because it was the first time, they made a presentation in English. During the other days of the meeting, the students worked on their own creative ideas with their own international working group. They also produced earrings and necklaces. At the last day of the meeting, they made a presentation about thier products.

We also did lots of culturel activities during the meeting in Poland. We visited Krakow which is the historical and amazing city. Beside this, we went to Salt Mine, too. During the trip to the mine, the students have learnt a lot things about the working conditions of the miners. I think, it was really nice experience for the students.
