Second meeting in Italy

Meeting in Italy was fascinating and exciting

That whole week was fascinating and exciting. The country was really beautiful, views were stunning, the students and teachers that were participating in this project were super friendly and sincere, everyone seemed like a part of one big family.

Not to mention that the host families were rather giving and friendly. The biggest thing that our students will miss is their families who took care of them, because they became like a part of their real family. THE WARMEST REGARDS TO THEM ;)

This meeting in Italy was really amazing. Our students found a lot of new friends, got a lot of experience and got to know other cultures, people with different nationalities and the chance to improve their English skills.

How unfortunate that we had to leave so fast because people that we met during that week became very close to our hearts.

SECOND PROJECT MEETING IN ITALY

***

The Polish team has returned home safe and sound from the short student exchange in Italy but we've all come back sad. It was an incredible experience with lots of fun and laughter. We will keep in our memory beautiful moments, unforgettable views and delicious food, but most of all we will not forget about the home atmosphere we felt when being hosted by our Italian friends.

During the meeting our students learned about NETiquette and cooperated in international teams to create presentations on it. Apart from that, students and teachers were invloved in creating the project anthem proposed by the Polish team. Also, we chose our project logo to which all partners have contributed. The winning logo comes from Italy and we are already boasting of it on the blog and on the project website. Moreover, students participated in craft workshops and some lessons at school. We experienced Italian culture during educational trips around Mantova, Venice and Verona and we made friends with our Italian hosts.

We would like to thank the whole Italian team:
parents, students, teachers and administrative staff
from
ISTITUTO COMPRENSIVO DI SAN GIORGIO DI MANTOVA
for hosting us so well.
UNESCO for showing us ravishing Sabionetta.
But, most of all, we would like to thank
Mrs Maria Rosaria Grasso,
who has showed us how to really make an effort and host friends.
You made a difference, Maria!

Instead of writing, the Polish team decided to share their impressions in images.
This is how we perceive Italy.
The experience was truly amazing!

Short - term Students Exchange in Italy

Our second meeting in Italy was a very pleasurable experience and  had a big impact on the development of our project.

First of all, it was the first challenge for students to take part in common activities in „real life”.

We must admit that they went through it succesfully.

Students’ prepared wonderful videos about their schools and performed with expression and confidence.

Working in international groups participants created presantations on Internet Ethics and Cyberbulling. Common work contributes to improving social skills, as well as  language and ICT skills.  Also, the project logo was chosen!

Besides, they enjoyed socializing with their mates and made new friends friends. I think this
aspect is also very valuable.

A word should be said about Italian host families who proveded such a warm welcome for our students that the memories about this trip will stay with us forever!

Teachers discussed project activites we've been completed so far and upcoming events

Thank you, dear Maria, Carla, Isabella and all the Italian team for good organization, rich cultural programme and for being so attentive and patient with us during our visit!
