the 6 th meeting in Poland

All beauty of Lodz made our moods better

We have arrived to Lodz after all night trip by bus and train without enough sleep, so first at school we were tired and not very interested in activities. Also the  first day was a little bit strange , because we didn't knew our families, we didn't knew nobody in there except our team from Lithuania. But when some time past we felt great, our families were super friendly, students were really easy-going and language barrier wasn't really important .

After ending school program of Monday, we went to the city center and we have been excited by that wonderful baroque buildings of Piotrkowska Street, diversity of shops and an old architecture of Manufaktura. All beauty of Lodz has made our moods better that day.

On Tuesday we presented our homework about famous people from all 8 countries. Honestly, it has been quite boring because almost all groups have read all long people‘s biography without alive speech

On Tuesday, we had a trip to Maurzyce. It helped to understand Polish people‘s life in past. Actually, it‘s quite same as in Lithuania. In my opinion, Thursday‘s activities was the most interesting. All these varieties of salt colours made us impression. Then, we have been in the thermal pools. It was really interesting and together tiring .

The last day was the hardest because we had to say goodbye to pleasant teachers and friendly students. We left Lodz at midnight and drove to Warsaw, which is very incredible about modern buildings and skyscrapers.

IMPRESSIONS AFTER THE 5TH MEETING IN PORTUGAL

Our impressions after the visit in May/June 2016 in Portugal could be encompassed by one short word “OBRIGADO”, which in Portuguese means “thank you”. That is why when recalling moments in Portugal we can say:

Obrigado, for the sound of the ocean and picturesque view of people surfing the waves.

Obrigado, for delicious fresh sardines which are a few times bigger than we know.

Obrigado, for yummy octopus which was eaten by mistake and was supposed to be a cod.

Obrigado, for a tiny hotel in Porto in which the rooms are small but you can always count on an umbrella on rainy days.

Obrigado, for generous people who are always ready to help or guide newcomers.

Obrigado, for the lovely smiley atmosphere that our project partners created.

Obrigado, for the magic climate of Porto, an old tram, beautiful bridges, ravishing and esoteric Braga and quiet Arcos de Valdevez.

Let’s hope we will visit Portugal once again. Obrigado!

The Fourth Meeting In Latvia

The Fourth Meeting In Latvia - ITALIAN TEAM
 (04 - 08 April 2016)

T

The Erasmus+ experience in Daugavpils was the best experience of my life and it will remain in my heart forever.
From 3rd to 9th April the coordinator of the Italian team, Maria Rosaria Grasso, the headmistress of our school, Carla Barbi, and us took part in the fourth meeting in Daugavpils.
The project provides different learning opportunities to European guys like us. The project involves eight countries: Spain, Turkey, Lithuania, Latvia, Portugal, Poland, France and of course Italy.

The Italian team was composed by four guys: Bissoli Lorenzo, Montorio Martina, Variati Sara and me, Romeo Anna.

Our travel started on 3rd  April from the airport of Bergamo, where we took our flight to the airport of Riga.
When we arrived in Daugavpils our guest family received us with a big smile and then they took us to our home for the next five days.

My guest family was always helpful, friendly, funny and generous to me. My host girl has a brother and a sister and they were very friendly and polite too, although they didn’t speak English. I really liked my host family and their house: everything was perfect.

Our workshop about “Cultural awareness” was very interesting and I knew a lot of new things about other countries’ rules and culture. I also learned some Latvian, Turkey and Lithuanian words and this was amazing.
Elza, my guest friend, was always kind and polite to me. She helped me, she let me meet her friends, she took me to a very beautiful tower and we visited it. The tower was near the river Daugava.

At the weekend "ERASMUS +" party we all danced a lot. We danced particularly Russian pop songs and it was one the funniest moment of the week in Daugavpils. At the party we talked a lot, we laughed, we danced and we cried because the next day was the farewell one. All the guys involved in this project were really happy to be in Daugavpils and of course I was too.

This experience will be unforgettable. During this week I have found a lot of friends, a new family who loves me as their child and a I knew a lot of new and interesting things.
Of these five days I will remember all the laughs, the jokes and all the important things I have learned in Latvia. I will remember the dances, the games and all the beautiful moment.  I do hope to come back to Latvia and to Daugavpils because I really want to meet again Elza, her family and all her friends. This experience will always be in my heart because that guys made me happy and they made me laugh a lot. They were my second family and they will be in my heart forever.
I thank the Erasmus Plus project, my teachers and my Italian team for having made this interesting and exciting project possible.

this was the best experience of my life! I doN't forget those guys and I WANT  to return to Latvia with my family to see them!
The Latvia is a beautiful country . I didn't think latvian people were so friendly but now I change my idea because they had very kind with us!
The trip was quite tired.
When we arrived in Daugavpils I felt a little uncomfortable because as a city is quite different from mine , but then I loved this city!
I was comfortable the first time I saw Vika because two months before she came in Italy and I had know her
The first day was beautiful and fun ! we were always together at school but despite this we met new friends!
When we left the school we visited the city and I liked very much.
When we left the school we went to shopping and in the afternoon we all went to Naujene: it was a beautiful tower where you could really see the Daugava River. We made a picnic, we played. It was so much fun!

The second day we were divided into groups and we did workshops . Then we went in Mart Rothko Art Centre , where we made some small paintings , it was fun! For lunch we went to a restaurant and I was very satisfied. When we finished eating, we visited other parts of Daugavpils.
The third day we went to the capital of Latvia. Riga is really a beautiful city, full of beautiful landscapes, full of history and old buildings! It was a really interesting trip and hope to return soon!
The fourth day was the most beautiful day for me.
At the beginning we were in school to make the group work about the culture of own countries, after we visited Andrupene . We visited a beautiful
church and the river that surrounded it , then we ate in a typical Latvian restaurant: in this place some dancers played and sang . We also danced and when it finished the ballet, we visited a museum.
The last day we showed our presentation about the cultures of our countries.
Then we walked around the city , we ate and in the end we returned home to prepare for the party.
When we arrive at the party I loved the decorations. They celebrated every country with a song, or with a small play or with magic tricks: it was very nice and fun! When they finished, we listened music and we danced and enjoyed ourselves ! it was a wonderful evening!

Finally, it was a fantastic experience ! I miss them all very much and I hope to see them soon!
I would like to thanks my Latvian’s family and all people that I met, because everybody was very kind and very nice with me.
I was very satisfied about  this experience

The 4th Erasmus' meeting was held in Daugavpils in Latvia. We were in Latvia from April 3rd to 9th.
It was a fantastic, fun, interesting and amazing experience.
I was hosted at Linda's she is a kind and friendly girl, who made me feel like I was at home. I want to thank you her and her mother for everything they did.

The tours and various visits to museums were great, I really liked a lot the Latvians landscapes, but I think that the best thing is our boundless friendship.
These friendships and this experience have been fantastic and I will always carry in my heart.
Thanks for everything.

My experience in Latvia has been great! We flew to Latvia from the Bergamo’s airport. We arrived in Riga’s airport and then we went to Daugavpils in the south of the country. We arrived at the city hotel and then our hosts brought us to their houses. My host’s house was little but comfortable. The people in Latvia is very polite, generous and funny! The school was big and nice: we did our activities for Erasmus + in the school’s gym.
I met boys and girls from different countries such as Spain, Pourtugal, France, Lithuania and Turkey and this was very exciting.
During our stay we went to Riga (the capital), we visited the Aglona’s Church and the Mark Rotko Museum. We ended the week with a traditional party, where we danced and the headmistress gave us the certificates.
I think that Latvia is an interesting country, not only for its  art, culture and  history but above all for its cool people!

Erasmus+ KA2 Project FLwICT The Third Meeting In Seville (14th to the 20th February, 2016) By Maité Loschetter

The time has come to review and report on the 3rd project Meeting we had the opportunity to participate in. This project is part of the « Erasmus+ » program and  the meeting took place in Seville from the 14th to the 20th February, 2016. Eight different countries were involved in this event: Turkey/Poland/Lithuania/Italy/France/Portugal/Spain/Latvia.

Five of our French students, from the « Lycée Maurice Genevoix in Montrouge”, were fortunate enough to participate in this great experience in Seville, and we had the chance to chaprone them.

This week in Seville was a rewarding and an unforgettable experience for several reasons.

à Mobility, Adaptability
Workshops and activities enabled us to improve our language skills and flexibility. We had to speak English during our week-stay and it was really great for the students to have to collaborate with their peers and to investigate similarities and differences between their cultures. From various media, they had to produce an intercultural dialogue by conducting  collaborative presentations. They had for example to teach other students how to dance their traditional folk dances, which was not really easy... Thanks to all the workshops, they had to dare to express themselves in another language in front of the whole group.

The students had to develop their flexibility to understand and be understood from the other students and from their host families..
The students were so sad to leave Seville and their host families that they can’t wait to  come back to  Spain. This kind of project may consequently promote European students’ mobility. For the students and for us, it was a great way to train and acquire experience abroad
è Understanding of European cultures and learning with ICT
The meeting in Seville provided an opportunity to develop “learning with ICT”. Indeed, the students had to prepare some videos about the culture of their countries. These videos were made thanks to an online presentation software tool, such as « Powtoon ». Through this experience, students and teachers discovered some softwares and learned how to use them to create animated video explainers. During the Workshop “Overcome the prejudice”, they made new videos to sum up similarities and differences of their cultures. By watching all the presentations, students and teachers were able to explore virtual mobility and a better use of new technologies.

This week was also an opportunity for students to investigate European cultures. All the participants learned about the other countries, traditional dishes, celebrations and folk dances. The exhibition and taste of traditional food, and the workshop “How to cook a Salmorejo (traditional tomato soup)” enabled us to discover new recipes, and ‘gluttony’ has proved to be a common ‘quality’   in all cultures!

è Discovering Seville and a part of Spain.
The Spanish team had also organized cultural visit of the Old Town and the Alcazar (Musslim castle and palace) and cultural visit of Granada and Alhambra. With the interesting explanations of Spain teachers, these visits were very enriching and formative for pupils and teachers.

An amazing, unforgettable and unique experience!!
